Professional Soccer Skills Development
Professional sports are incredibly competitive, but there are things you can do to ensure that you are ready to face off against the competition and show them you've got what it takes to go pro. This article will help you to learn tips and strategies to hone your skills so you are ready to take it to the next level.
Playing soccer as a profession is the same thing as taking any other field as your profession. You do this in steps, by first of all attending any soccer academy or any soccer school or training for some period until you are mature for professional soccer. Most people know about this but they have a problem of finding a club to play for. They feel clubs need to come and search for them wherever they live and as a result of that many people have vast their potentials. They have not really used it the way they are suppose to use it. They keep on training waiting for clubs to come and search for them until they are off age. But am sure that you will not want to be like that, isn’t it? If yes is your answer then this is what you need to do after your coarse of training, which can change your life and help you explore your talent.
In soccer, as in any other walk of life, there are many hurdles to overcome. These hurdles need to be confronted with determination and a positive attitude. I have met many hopefuls over the years who thought that only “special” people made it as soccer players. These boys have no self belief and predictability gave up after the first set back. Others thought that anyone could become a soccer player with little or no effort. Those too were lost to the game when the going got tough.
In team sports, the key to victory goes beyond just putting the best players on the field. Soccer is a thinking person's game because it is low-scoring and involves tactics beyond just beating the other team with speed, strength or hustle. A mix of those three qualities in defense, midfield and offense is crucial to success, but is still only one piece of the formula. A layered strategy with the ability to change plans of attack quickly is essential.
1- You need to set up realistic goals, ex: decide what you want to achieve in the upcoming season. This may include the amount of goals that you want to score, learning to score with both feet, improve your dribbling ablates and so on. You get the idea. This will help you move forward and you will be able to monitor your overall development.
2- Make sure to stick to these goals, don’t just write them down and then forget about them. Instead, make sure to stick to them completely. Don’t either set up too unrealistic goals. I mean, if you are just started to play soccer it is hard to expect that you will become a professional immediately.
3- Always work hard during your practices and games. This is very important as if you are not giving 100 % on your practice you will not either do it during your games. Make also sure to practice extra. You see, it is not enough to only participate in your regular training sessions. You need to spend a lot of time by practicing on your own.
4- Live your life like a professional. This includes sleeping at least 8 hours per night, no alcohol, proper soccer diet etc. This is very many talents fail; they simply think that their talent is enough to make it all the way (which is completely wrong). It doesn’t matter how much talent you have because if you don’t live like a professional you will not either become a one.
5- Never give up. You must always keep on working and move forward no matter how hard it feels. I am not saying that you will become professional by following these tips because there are other things that you need to get right but that you can’t affect (injuries, skillful coach and so on). However, these tips should give you an indication on what it takes to become a professional soccer player.
The best part about playing soccer is doing it well and ultimately winning, especially when it’s almost to the degree of embarrassing your opponent with your skill and talent. Whether it’s making a great pass, scoring an incredible goal, dribbling by someone with ease—leaving the defender at a standstill, these are all great achievements that inspire a certain amount of well deserved satisfaction. Master the offensive and defensive game plans that get the entire team playing as a unit.

3 Steps for Improving Soccer Skill
Every player of soccer wants to be skill full in his game. Its not enough for the player to be fast and strong, in order to have a winning edge over the opponent team. Every team player much possess good field vision, impressive skill and good instincts.
Expert coach can use a variety of techniques and methods to teach his team the necessary skills and field vision. Some of the tried and tested techniques can be listed below.
- Shoot Between Cones
- Dribble Cones and Shoot
- Pass and Shoot
- In this method, the coach should set up a line of cones row 3 to 5 yards apart. Put players into pairs. Now, have one player on each side of the line facing the cones each other. Now, tell the players to strike the ball between the cones by starting close to the row of cones at first.
During the practice, each pair of players needs to receive ball and pass it back through the cones. Keep your watchful eyes open. Observe the improvements of the players. If you find that the technique and accuracy of the players is improving, you can move players further apart accordingly.
- In this method, the coach needs to s et up twocone lines for a dribble weave. The size must be about 30 yards with a 2-yard goal at the end. This time, you do not need to divide your players in pairs. Instead, divide them into twolines or teams. Now, have the players dribble through the cones. Before the next player in line starts, the players should try to score at the goal at the end.
- This is also a very effective technique to teach the soccer players impressive game skills. As per this method, the coach should set up twocones as a goal at one end of the grid. This time, again, the team should be divided in half. Have one player to begin as goalie.
Give one ball to each player and line the players in a group up behind the goal. Make another group and have them take position at fifteen feet in front of the goal. The soccer skills learned this way is capable to make a winning team.

The Multiple Lessons of Soccer
As young children develop motor skills, they are naturally drawn to the challenges of playing with, and controlling, a ball. And not only does soccer provide these challenges, but at the same time it develops endurance, strength, coordination skills, cognitive ability, and social lessons. And to play a good game of soccer, a child needs a positive attitude and tactical understanding of the games ebb and flow.
What children learn on a soccer field, helps them in other social environments:
• Children learn to play according to the rules of the game, and this lesson transfers not only to other sports, but to other social settings.
• By gaining better coordination through the many physical requirements of soccer, children learn to judge, determine and use their sporting talents successfully.
• In soccer children are forced to stop acting egocentrically and learn to be socially dependent.
• Due to its world wide popularity, soccer, more than other sports, lets children relate to other children across cultural boundaries. This can contribute to a more tolerant world view in later life.
Soccer encourages several physiological conditions. First there is endurance: children develop a relatively high aerobic-anaerobic threshold as their bodies must learn to run with or without the ball over prolonged periods of time. Children learn that strength, the ability to kick the ball hard and fast, is crucial in soccer. And soon they will have internalized the old soccer wisdom that you might not be able to win a soccer game with strength and endurance alone but they do enable you to prevent defeat!

Soccer Ball and its History
A long time ago, a soccer ball was made out of a pig's bladder. Nowadays, they're high tech pieces of equipment that are designed to be precision made, lightweight, durable and multi-sided pieces of modern ingenuity.
A soccer ball has four major components: the cover, stitching, the lining and the bladder. These days, the outer part, or the cover of a soccer ball, is made of synthetic leather. In the 'old days', the cover of the soccer ball used to be made of full-grain leather, but that material absorbed too much water and the soccer ball grew too heavy. The synthetic leather that a soccer ball is made from today are lightweight and water resistant.
Each soccer ball is made up of 32 separate panels, though some designs use less and some use more. The 32-sided soccer ball is the most common and is used in professional soccer games around the world. Here's where a good head for math comes in. A soccer ball is made up of 20 hexagonal and 12 pentagonal panels. The panels on the soccer ball bulge out because of the amount of air pressure inside the ball. If fewer panels are used to construct a soccer ball, the ball tends to curve more when airborne, because it's less stable.
The panels on a soccer ball can be stitched or glued together, but the best soccer balls are stitched by hand, which gives the soccer ball a stronger, tighter seam. These hand stitched soccer balls are more expensive than those that are machine stitched, but they're well worth the extra dollars. The cheaper soccer ball choices are glued, and these soccer balls are commonly used for practice sessions.
A soccer ball is stitched together in a process that begins with cutting out the panels piece by piece. Holes are punches around the edges of these panels. Then the soccer ball panels are turned inside out so that when finished, none of the stitches will show on the outside of the soccer ball. A different type of needle is used on these pieces. When finished, the soccer ball is turned right side out and the bladder is placed inside and inflated. One person might make four soccer balls a day. After completion, each soccer ball must go through multiple tests and graded for quality and performance. If a soccer ball needs to be used for a professional match, it must undergo other tests before it ends up on the playing field.

Soccer Strategies of Defending
Most player and coaches said soccer is all about attack and if you have strong defend that no attack can break it then you just need to attack first and then defend then game will be yours. If we talk about the Skills and Strategy there comes three main skills of defending:
- Perform a Defensive header
Catenaccio Defensive Strategy
Zonal Defending
Cruffy Turn
Given Above techniques or strategies are mostly named after the player or coach who descover it. Perform a Defensive header, comes when you are playing in defensive position and ball comes in your area in the air. The aim of is strategy is to clear the ball from your area and through it away from your field as high as possible and preferably towards a member of your own team. You need to judge the flight of the ball and get in line ready to jump as soon as you can as your opponent will also be looking to attack the ball. it is better to head the ball to either side of the pitch rather than into the middle. I think this is enough for Defensive header.
Zonal Defending comes third. It allows to sets defenders out to cover areas of the pitch or ‘zones’ rather than concentrating on marking one player in particular as in man-to-man marking. The defence typically will line up four players along the six yard box, one on the near post, one in the middle of the six yard box, one between them and one on the far post. Four more will then sit in front of them to offer further protection and to compete for the ball if it is cleared and returned to the penalty area. The main reason for using the zonal system is to identify the most dangerous area where the ball can be delivered to and have your best headers of the ball placed there ready to win the first ball and if not, to make sure they are in position to clear the second ball that comes in.
Shield the ball from your opponent with your back to him and the ball close to your feet and under your control, This happened when you apply cruffy turn. For its practice you will need a ball, an opponent and quick feet.
Just remember one thing playing soccer with out soccer uniform is looks like you are doing wrestling. So go and get you soccer uniform and soccer jerseys.

Soccer Warm Up Components
There are a lot of good warm-ups, so let me just ask you to think about including these elements:
Soccer Jerseys
- Greeting to the players - Thank each player for coming and acknowledge each one. Present your goal to team. You have the lesser of 3 sentences or 30 seconds.
- Warm-up running - playing a relay or tag game might be more fun
- Stretching - Good chance to pat a couple of players on the back and offer encouragement, but let your team captains run the stretching.
- Fun warm-up games - These should be fun and provide movement. Ultimate Frisbee, relays, juggling in small groups, ball tag and other games.
- More stretching - Repeating stretches for the large muscle groups.
- Touches on the ball - Partners with a ball, working all surfaces, settling, trapping, kills, volleying, heading.
- Passing with partner - Many different sequences possible, Karrie Miller 1-2-3 touch sequence very fun for kids and effective. 1 touch passing is at 10 feet, 2 touch allows player to receive and clean up with first touch, pass with second, and 3 touch allows receive, push forward to attack, then pass. At 3 touch, both players move together back and forth, as the passer has to back up quickly after passing. Work toward getting ball off line of play quickly when received as this is needed in the match.
- Small group passing exercises - Like lines facing with one touch passing, sometimes with a bending run to the back of a line opposite, takeovers, wall passes. Passing groups of 3 and 4 moving and passing and communicating. Full team passing exercises with 3 or 4 balls, players checking away and then to the ball, again with communication, receiving and turning ball or taking ball off line of play.
- Possession games - Pass across the circle and chase your pass, defender in middle of circle keepaway, or 7 v 7 possession. You don't have to have bibs, just start two circles each playing keepaway with a defender in the middle, ask kids in one circle to pull their shirts out and go take the ball away from the other circle.
- Small sided games - Play a small match to target players or cones. Play three teams (need bibs) first time shooting in front of goal.
- Shooting exercises - Oh.... the usual shooting lines going to goal. Don't have the coach distributing. Make sure that the emphasis is on shooting technique. It's OK if the ball is rolling very slowly, you are not focusing on receiving, so keep the services slow. Exercises can include even 1v1 and 2v2 to goal.
- Composure time - Give the kids a moment to collect their thoughts and get a drink. Get them over early enough to see you smiling and to get organized before the match begins. You have time to give a lineup and to talk for about 15 seconds, no more.

Soccer Clubs Formation
The first step in creating a soccer club is deciding the level of skill or competence you want your club to achieve. With this you will be able to determine the members you wish to get. It is important to invite the players who pass the level of competence you aspire for the group.
Soccer Club Formation Base
The formation you choose should be based on:
- The ability of your players.
- Your players speed and endurance.
- The number of substitutes you have.
- The length of the field.
- The other team's strengths and weaknesses.
(If you play fewer than 11 on the field, the same principles still apply, but you will need to reduce the numbers accordingly).
You should use a formation that gives your players the best chance of being successful. For example, if you have a great goalkeeper, a fast, tough and skilful player who can play Sweeper, and either Fullbacks with lots of endurance or lots of subs, or play on a short field, you can play a 1-3-3-3 and push your Fullbacks up to the halfway line when you attack. However, if you play on a long field, don't have many subs, and have Fullbacks who aren't fast and who lack stamina, your players can't be successful if you ask them to push up to the halfway line on your attack and you will be better off to use a 3-2-2-3 formation (3 FB's, 2 Defensive Midfielders, 2 Offensive MF's & 3 Forwards).
Team Formation Responsibility
It will be the responsibility of the age group coordinators to form teams within their age group. This will be done based on the team formation process outlines below. Once teams have been formed, the club president will review and approve the teams and submit them to the club registrar for processing.

Soccer Jerseys for all Players
Nothing identifies the game as much as the soccer jerseys. The jersey is probably the most important part of the uniform. It doesn't matter if it's a club or national team; the soccer jersey is typical and unique of the game. One can tell if a person is using a soccer jersey from miles away, and it is used not only by soccer fans but also because a lot of the jerseys have nice designs and lines to them, which allows people to wear them in practically any occasion.
The soccer jersey has suffered a lot of changes over the years. In the beginning, the jerseys were made mostly out of cotton and were relatively thick in comparison to the modern ones. This was a disadvantage because when the players used to sweat the shirt would get heavier and stick to the body.
Initially soccer uniforms and soccer jerseys were only worn by the soccer players. With the passage of time, as soccer became more popular and built its strong fan following, the fans of a particular team thought that the best way to show their allegiance to their team was by wearing their team’s uniform. Many brands started manufacturing replica soccer uniforms for fans besides original soccer uniforms for the players. As a large part of the soccer fan following constitutes women and teenage girls, therefore, every soccer uniform selling company make sure that it offers a good selection of women’s soccer wear as well.
